Yoga Sutra 22.

MRUDUMADHYADHIMATRATVANTATOAPI VISESHA



Success varies according to the methods used such as, mild, medium and speedy.

The nature of intensity of practice may vary. It ranges from mild to medium to intense or arduous and speedy. The result depends on the nature of practice.

Deeper and arduous practice brings forth imminent result.

Apart from the methods said there is another way and that is surrender to God.

ISWARAPRANIDHANATVA



Or Chitta may be set free by surrender to a higher Principle, the Lord.

Lord according to the wise is the reflection of consciousness on the Satwa quality of Clarity, Luminosity and Knowledge.

God is clear about everything as it is the reflection of consciousness on the Satwa quality of Clarity.

God is self luminous as it is the reflection of consciousness on the Satwa quality of Luminosity.

God is all knowing as it is the reflection of Satwa quality of Knowledge.

Such a special consciousness knows everything with respect to all the manifestation.

Surrender to such a higher principle enables one to get rid of the fluctuations of the consciousness.
